Rho Ophiuchi Complex (Scorpius and Ophiuchus)

The Magnificent Rho Ophiuchi 

Una delle zone più spettacolari del cielo notturno è il complesso nebulare di Rho Ophiuchi e Antares.

Le 3 stelle in alto a sinistra dell'immagine fanno parte del sistema stellare multiplo di Rho Ophiuchi che è

composto da nebulose a riflessione, nubi di polvere e stelle in formazione.

In basso a destra c'è la stella super gigante Antares dove brilla anche l'ammasso globulare M4 poco più in alto a destra. 

Sulla destra in alto la stella gigante blu Al Niyat (Sigma Scorpii) e la nebulosa ad emissione Sh2-9.

- Lens / Camera : Takahashi FSQ 106 ED f/3,6 & f/5 - Canon EOS 6D & 60D Central DS (Baader Modified)
- Mount / Guide : Astro-Physics Mach1 & 1200 GTO Mount -  Lacerta Mgen stand alone autoguide on 9x50 Finderscope
- Exposure Time : Exposures of  1,3,6,8,10 Min. (12,7 h Total)  @ 1600 Iso, No Dark - Yes Flat.
- Processing : Image Plus (Calibration), Registar (Alignment), PS, ImagePlus, NikCollection, SpikePro4 (Processing)
- Note : Good Trasparency - Temp Min. -1°C  / Max. +16°C - SQM-L 21,78 / 22,04
